just in time to take notice
of the beauty that is left
not too late to appreciate
and do what we can to protect the rest
it’s a hard balance to achieve
this modern day life & nature
the industrial revolution & technology
does bring so much pleasure
but it cannot replace the magnificent wilderness
or a simple wildflower
when the soil is dry and the oceans soiled
our hunger not clenched and money we can’t devour
not only the sight of a snow capped mountain
will take our breath away
for already there are reports to stay in doors
because of the air pollution and the UV Rays
what more do we need to take action
and all pull together to demand
at least lets start with the slowing of consumption
at least in this we all can lend a hand
